+ When do the 2027 editions take place?
Alpe Adria Winter: Sunday 7 February 2027. Alpe Adria Summer: from Friday 18 to Sunday 20 June 2027, with the Ultra 120 starting on Friday at 2:00 pm.
+ When does registration open?
On 1 August 2026, with a cap per distance: 50 spots for the Alpe Adria Ultra 120, 100 for Montasio 55 and Jôf Trail 31, 200 for all the others.
Priority access with a special code from 25 July 2026.
+ How much do the races cost?
Entry fees start from €1 per kilometre in the first bracket and rise to €2 per kilometre in the last one (Winter from 15 January 2027, Summer from 10 June 2027). Full tables with dates are on every race page. The price of the day you complete registration applies.
+ Where do I park?
Event parking is free, outside Kile Alpine Resort, about 150 metres away: follow signs P3, P4, P5 and P6 — P6 is the closest. Motorhomes and vans use the same car park as cars.
+ What is the checkpoint on the valley road?
It's the local cooperative's private checkpoint, confirmed again for 2027: hours and prices are being finalised (in 2026 it operated roughly 8:00 am–3:00 pm). It's a service separate from the organisation: event parking stays free.
+ Is the Jôf 27 or 31 km?
In 2027 the commercial name is Jôf Trail 31: the certified track measures 30.51 km with 2,690 m D+.
+ What's the minimum pace for the Ultra 120?
The technical table indicates 3 km/h. The two life bases (Val Aupa km 54.1 and Dogna km 86.7) have a cutoff time.
+ Which races are loop courses and which are point-to-point?
Loop from Kile Alpine Resort: Ultra 120, Lussari 24, Oitzinger 12 and, in winter, Grego 8. Point-to-point (finish at Kile): Montasio 55 and Jôf Trail 31 from Dogna; Dogna 25 from Dogna Centro; Saisera 18 and Valbruna 10 from Valbruna village.
+ What time do the races start?
Winter: Dogna 25 at 8:45 am · Grego 8 at 9:30 am (non-competitive rolling start 9:45–11:30 am) · Valbruna 10 and Saisera 18 at 10:30 am.
Summer: Ultra 120 Friday at 2:00 pm · Montasio 55 and Jôf Trail 31 at 6:30 am · Lussari 24 and Oitzinger 12 at 8:30 am.
+ Are microspikes mandatory in winter?
Mandatory on Dogna 25, Saisera 18 and Grego 8. On Valbruna 10 only if the organisation announces it in the week before the race, depending on snow, ice and weather — always check the latest pre-race update.
+ Can I run with my dog?
Yes, in the non-competitive races of the Winter events.
+ Where can I sleep at the Race Hub?
Guesthouse beds and camp beds are available only for the Summer edition, by booking through the Runner Profile (opening expected from April 2027). Showers and changing rooms are included for participants during race hours.
+ When do I download the GPX track?
GPX tracks become downloadable five days before the race. In the meantime you can check the map and checkpoints on Trace de Trail on every race page.
+ If I'm stopped at a cutoff, am I reclassified on a shorter distance?
No: no downgrades are foreseen. Anyone who doesn't make the cutoffs, or is judged to be moving at an unsafe pace, is stopped.
