Getting there

Getting to Val Saisera

Deep in the valley, right in the forest: reaching the Race Hub is already part of the journey.

Car

Motorway A23 Alpe-Adria, exit Ugovizza: from there, follow signs for Valbruna and continue up Val Saisera to the Race Hub — Kile Alpine Resort, 3.8 km past the village, just after the Austro-Hungarian Cemetery.

On event parking is free, outside the resort, about 150 metres away: follow signs P3, P4, P5 and P6 — P6 is the closest, P1 and P2 are far away. Motorhomes and vans use the same car park as cars.

Along the valley road, near the ski school, a local cooperative checkpoint (open roughly 8:00 am–3:00 pm), where you pay a fee to park in the valley: it's a private service, separate from the organisation — event parking stays free.

Train

The Pontebbana railway serves the Val Canale with the stations of Ugovizza-Valbruna — the closest to the Race Hub, about 7 km away (map) — and Tarvisio Boscoverde.

From the station you'll still need a transfer to Val Saisera: arrange a taxi or a lift — the Race Hub is only reachable on foot from the Kile's Foresteria.

Plane

The Julian Alps sit at the centre of four airports: Klagenfurt (~60 km), Ljubljana (~90 km), Trieste FVG (~130 km) and Venice (~180 km). From any of them you'll need a rental car or a transfer: the valley is worth the trip.

By bike

La Alpe Adria cycle path runs through Val Canale a stone's throw from Valbruna: if your journey starts in the saddle, you're already on the right road.

The valley's golden rule

The Race Hub can be reached on foot only from the The Kile Alpine Resort's own Foresteria. From anywhere else — Valbruna village, Malborghetto, Ugovizza, Camporosso, Tarvisio and beyond — you'll need your own car or a transfer.

Race shuttles leave in front of the Kile's main gate, at the P5 car park, bookable through the Runner Profile.
